I have been a handler scince 1980. I work for the Lamar County Sheriff\'s Department. I was the first K9 Officer for Lamar County. My first dog, Bosco, was trained by Al Canine.
After Bosco\'s death, I was got Aron Al Canine. With the dogs I got from Al Canine, I have made over 15,000cases in a rural county. Just ask me about AL Canine.

I am a first time dog handler from Bremen,GA and I attended the narcotics detection handler course in the fall of 2005. The training that I recieved from Ricky has truely helped me learn how to be an effective dog handler. Ricky doesn't stop after the class, if you have a question all you do is call and he is more than happy to provide help after the class. Thanks so much Ricky.

I attende the instructors course at ACLEOTC in the mid 90's. I had been a handler in Birmingham for several years at that time, but Ilearned volumes more during the course. I am the trainer for all Birmingham Alabama Police dogs as well as many of our surrounding agencies. What I learned from Ricky has been invluable. He has also provided my agency with nothing but top notch dogs over the years. Ricky is a trustworthy businessman and friend alike.

As a new handler Ricky was very helpfull in all aspects of k9 training. The classes gave me a more usefull knowledge about k9's than any other course that I am aware of. Even after we returned Ricky was available to answer any questions and assist us with our administration. Ricky definately runs a full service training facility. Thanks Ricky

I would like to thank Ricky for locating and training " Cricket". She is our newest addition to the Coweta County Sheriff's Office and is assigned to the School Resource Division as a contraband dog, detecting narcotics, alcohol, and firearms. Ricky "the dogman" as the community knows him, is sincere with furnishing top quality dogs and training. Thank You Ricky for sharing some of your knowledge with me and I look forward to learning even more as training continues. :grin

Congrats on your web site.
Over the years, I've gotten numerous dogs from ACLEOTC, and sent several handlers through training. I have been more than pleased with the service.

Ricky this is great, the real Alabama Canine WEB site at last. I can't say enough about the Alabama Canine Law Enforcement Officers Training Center it just speeks for it's self. I have been in the Police Canine field for the past 23 years and out of all the kennels I have attended there is not one that can top the training recieved at your facility. I went through the 9 week instructor course and picked up a vast amount information and knowledge. I would recommend any courses put on by the center and as far a trainer goes Ricky Farley can't be topped nationwide. Keep up the good work and I'll see you in Georgia.

Rickey and family this has been one of the most important experciences in my life to be able to handle one of your dogs. I would never imagine how much someone truly knows and can teach a dog and its handler. Your training could be a lifesaver to me and possibly someone else. Thank you and GOD BLESS!!!!
